Costs for Home Sellers:

As a real estate professional, it’s essential to educate your clients about the costs associated with listing their homes under the Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) Program. Here’s a breakdown to help you guide them:

Certification Costs:

To list a home under the CPO Program, sellers will need to cover various certification expenses. These can include appraisal fees, home inspection costs, and, if necessary, expenses for repairs or improvements to meet the program’s stringent standards.

Agent Commission:

Even with the advantages of the CPO Program, sellers are still responsible for paying the standard real estate agent commission. This commission, typically a percentage of the final sale price, is in addition to the costs related to the CPO certification.
